School Festival

Today, Katerina and I went to a festival that celebrated the end of the school year for the children. We had a good time. There were several dances by the children and then they played games. While we were there, I had a delicious sausage. Katerina and I shared some french fries. Below are a few pictures from the day.

The following is a video of one of the dances performed by the children.

sorry Jennifer. I should have said it in English. It was nothing important. Just remembered the days when I went to primary school and had fun at those festivals. It is unbelievable how time flies. Me and my sister always enjoyed the games after the dances. There used to be more games and activities than now and one could win things. One of them was "the catching of paper fish" with a magnet that was fastened to a rod. Every fish had a paper clip and a number written on the wrong side. Each fish had a corresponding prize you could win at catching a fish. Nothing big really but for us, children at that time, it was exciting and meant a lot. So I posted a short note to my sister saying that the fishing for prize was the best part of the whole festival, anyway. She answered, "sure, I was always good in this since I wasn't required to be athletic in this kind of activity" :))) Thanks for your comments and HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Kylie. Can't wait to meet yall! Katerina
